Monolith

Early Vanity Painting depicts motifs that show the transient nature of life, the futility of pleasure, and the certainty of death, in fact, all major philosophical teachings tell us that world is transient, therefore, all our experience of it will be transient and fleeting. The project Monolith situates itself on the the interval of time occupied by geological history, where we have acquired the role of a geological force, capable of stalling an Ice Age – and possibly driving another Great Extinction of life in the next 300 to 600 years*
